A statement for your electric service will be mailed or emailed to you each month. Crow Wing Power offers several payment and billing options.
Pick and choose what works best for you.

To avoid late fees, always pay your electric bill by the due date.

Here are all the payment methods and options available:

On time, every time; set your bill to be paid automatically each month.

By authorizing automatic payments, your bank will automatically withdraw the amount of your bill from your checking account, savings account, or credit card on the due date. 

You can receive a bill available notification through email or continue to receive your bill by mail, so you'll know the amount to be withdrawn. Plus, you'll avoid late fees because your bill is automatically paid on time every month. 

You can set up auto-pay online using SmartHub or over the phone with SecurePay (844) 834-4461.

PayNow
Want to make your payment online without having to register? Use our PayNow site. You just need your account number and name on the account to sign in and make your payment.

Make a Payment Now 

Make secure payments 24 hours a day with our automated phone payment system SecurePay. 

Along with paying your bill you can check account balances or set-up recurring checking or credit card payments.
To use the automated system, you will need to know your Crow Wing Power account number or the phone number(s) you provided as a contact that is attached to your account.

PrePay allows members to pay for electricity upfront and use it until the balance runs out. No security deposit. . . just PrePay!

Predictable payments make budgeting easy.

Budget Billing is the payment plan that helps you balance your monthly payments. This option was designed to help our members avoid the "ups and downs" of seasonal electricity bills. Crow Wing Power determines this amount based on your previous 12 months usage history, anticipated energy costs and other factors. Budget Billing does not reduce your overall energy expense – it lets you spread out your expense, so you’ll be able to manage your household budget a little easier.

  • Do not mail cash.
  • Make check payable to Crow Wing Power
  • Do not staple or tape your check to your payment coupon.
  • Write your Crow Wing Power account number on your check.
  • Use blue or black ink. 

Payments are accepted in the drive through or lobby of our Brainerd Headquarters, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. A convenient drop box is also available 24/7 at this office location.

Cash, Check, Money Order, or Credit/Debit Card are accepted at our office, and credit cards are accepted online and by phone.

Crow Wing Power accepts Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit cards.
