America's electric cooperatives encourage civic engagement through Co-ops Vote, a nonpartisan program that helps members understand the issues and get to the polls. It does not endorse candidates or parties. Its message reflects a value that co-ops have held for generations: democracy works best when people take part.
As you make your plan to vote, keep these Minnesota dates in mind for the 2026 General Election:
- Early voting begins: September 18, 2026
- Voter registration deadline: October 13, 2026 (same-day registration is available on Election Day)
- Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026 with polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
