Residential Rebates

 

From appliances to heating and cooling, small changes can mean big energy savings. Crow Wing Power encourages members to make their homes as energy-efficient as possible by offering a variety of rebates for new equipment purchases and energy-efficiency upgrades.

Electric Energy Use Assessment

 

The majority of most member's energy budget goes toward heating and cooling. An energy-inefficient home can be a big contributor to high home energy costs and poor temperature control. Luckily, there are ways to find these inefficiencies in your home. Crow Wing Power offers our members an energy use assessment. Primarily, we look for weatherization opportunities – areas where heated or cooled air may be escaping through leaks in door jambs, windows, electrical outlets, or the duct-work of the heating and cooling system.

All Crow Wing Power members are eligible for a free assessment, please contact the Member Service department about an Energy Assessment at 829-2827 or 1-800-648-9401.

  • Rebate amount is $25* Residential for Centrally Installed Air Conditioner.  
  • Limit one rebate per customer account.
  • A/C must be operational at time of tune-up, REPAIRS ARE NOT COVERED.

Fluorescent lamps have to be recycled since they contain mercury which is harmful to the environment.

They must be taken to an authorized bulb recycling center, rather than thrown into the garbage. In fact, since 1994 it has been illegal in Minnesota to do so.

  • Use up to ten, 50¢ coupons to redeem at participating retailers.
  • Use one coupon per lamp and your participating retailer will apply this as a discount to your total recycling costs.
