The majority of member's energy budget goes toward heating and cooling. An energy-inefficient home can be a big contributor to high home energy costs and poor temperature control. Luckily, there are ways to find these inefficiencies in your home.

Crow Wing Power offers our members an energy use assessment. Primarily, we look for weatherization opportunities – areas where heated or cooled air may be escaping through leaks in door jambs, windows, electrical outlets, or the duct-work of the heating and cooling system.

All Crow Wing Power members are eligible for a free Energy Use Assessment, but due to Covid, we are unable to do in-home visits. However, we can assist over the phone with things for you to inspect and test.
