College Scholorship Contest

In April of 2010 Crow Wing Power Community Trust randomly drew the names of three high school seniors and gave each winner $1,000 scholarships to be used for their first year at an accredited college or trade school. The scholarship drawing is part of our annual online-scholarship contest.

Here's how the Crow Wing Power Scholarship Contest works: The Crow Wing Power Trust Board conducts the drawings in April each year. Lucky winners are randomly selected amongst all who enter and meet eligibility requirements. Sweepstakes begin in September and end in March each year.

The scholarships are not based on grades or financial need, so every eligible high school senior who enters has an equal chance of winning.

Criteria/Rules:

* Applicant must complete all information.
* Only one entry per person.
* Duplicate entries will be discarded.
* Must be a High School Senior and a member of Crow Wing Power (immediate family gets their electricity from Crow Wing Power) - verifiable from electric account number
* Contest ends March 31
* Must be attending college or trade school
* Prizes will be paid directly to the college or trade school.

To enter the contest simply complete the entry form below. Please complete all information to enter. Only one entry per person. Duplicate entries will be discarded.

General conditions: Offer open to legal U.S. residents and members of Crow Wing Power except employees and their immediate families (defined as children, siblings) and persons living in the same household of such employees of Crow Wing Power, its affiliates and subsidiaries. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Prizes will be paid directly to the winner's school. Verification of school registration will be required to claim prize.

Limitations of Liability: Crow Wing Power is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by web site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes. If for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of CWP, Crow Wing Power reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest.
