It is important that we have your phone number and service location address on our data base for our automated system to work properly. Call our office during normal business hours with the phone number and address at the location of your home or cabin.
During normal hours of operation, we answer calls with a personal attendant. However, during high call volume situations we use an automated call handling system that enables us to process numerous calls at once. The system will automatically identify your location with Caller ID technology. If you are not calling from your home it will allow you to speak your number or use a touchtone phone to enter an outage location phone number. You may also leave a message with information pertaining to the outage. In addition, the new system summarizes the information so we can quickly dispatch crews to problem areas. After following a few simple instructions, the computerized system will record a customer's location and the dispatcher will direct a crew to repair electric lines.
When the lights are out it's important you use your land-line (not cell phone or a portable cordless phone that plugs into the wall) to call us - Our system will know your location.
