Long Time Board Member Passes Away

We received the sad news recently that our long-time Board Member and friend, Ken Miller, passed away on Wednesday, August 30.  Ken was a dedicated Board Director for 32 years, longer than any of the current Directors, so we all knew him well.

Have you checked out the Osprey Webcam this year?   Last year we helped CLC mount a new web cam on the nesting platform we donated about seven years. ago when the project first started.  This year the Osprey returned on April 10, the same exact date as last and the pair, "Harlowe and Hercules", are currently incubating two or three eggs.

Winter Storm Argos blew in November 18 with a furry and quickly turned from a winter storm to a blizzard. Outages began as the heavy wet snow brought trees down on power lines. By 2:30pm with blizzard conditions of 35+ mph winds, icy roads and visibility to almost nothing, we closed our offices.
