A number of local businesses and organizations have committed to voluntarily purchase some or all of their electrical usage from wind-generated power. “GreenPower” helps to replace electricity generated by fossil-fuel power plants, which in turn helps to reduce emissions and improve our environment.
Wind power requires a sizable financial commitment since it is currently more expensive than conventional sources. These businesses and organizations understand this and have made a conscious decision to make an investment for a better future.
