Modifying your current electric service can be a challenge. To insure a smooth electrical service transition, please contact our Member Service Department early in your planning process.
When planning your electrical upgrades, please remember that Crow Wing Power is responsible for all equipment up to your metering point, while the homeowner is responsible for any subsequent wiring, including your metering point.
Please have this information handy when you contact us for a service upgrade:
• NAME
• ACCOUNT NUMBER
• DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED UPGRADE
• NAME OF YOUR ELECTRICIAN
One of Crow Wing Power's field engineers will likely have to look at your project and may want to visit with you or your electrician about it. Please allow sufficient lead time during the construction season for any electrical upgrades.
