Nine board of directors, elected by members, determine the policies and procedures of the Cooperative. At the annual meeting held each year in June, directors are elected and are the resulting voice in establishing how the Cooperative operates. Members vote annually to elect directors. Ballots are mailed to members in May to elect three directors each year.
Four Director's positions will be open for filing on January 26th.
Bette Mezzenga retired on Jan 1, leaving the seat open in District 1 At-Large (combined 1A and 1B). The elected person will serve the remaining two years of a normal three-year term.
District 1A is open. Bob Kangas currently serves as Director for District 1A. He resides in the Pine River area.
District 2 At-Large is open. Lois Hansen currently serves as Director for District 2 At-Large. She resides just north of Brainerd.
District 3B is open. Ken Miller is the current Director for District 3B. He lives in the Little Falls area.
Filing is open from January 26 until April 10. Members must live in the District they are running for. Ballots will be mailed in May and voting will end on Saturday, June 9 the day of our annual meeting. Intereste people should contact Crow Wing Power at 218-829-2827 or 1-800-648-9401.
