On a larger scale, Crow Wing Power is one of more than 1,000 rural electric cooperatives, making up the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. The nation's rural electric cooperatives provide affordable electricity to 25 million people in 75% of the United States.

This year we celebrate our 70th year of service. We currently have 85 employees, distribute electricity over 4,700 miles of line and serve 7 customers per mile.
